Privacy policy

We, the team behind Pebble, are responsible for your data. We collect what the service needs to work, use it only for that, and never sell it.
What we keep
- Your account: email, name, and, if you give it, your country.
- Your brokerage history, if you connect a broker: the transactions, holdings and balances it shares with us read-only, and the figures we work out from them. We never see or store your broker password, and we cannot trade or move money.
- Your plan: which plan you are on and when it renews. Paddle keeps your card and billing address; we only receive a customer number, the plan and its status.
- On Pro: the guide's reviews and the questions you ask it.
- What you send us: problem reports and emails.
What we use it for
To work out and show your figures, keep them up to date, run your plan and billing, answer you, and fix problems. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or advertising cookies.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase stores your account, your broker history and the figures worked out from it, and handles logging in.
- Vercel runs the website.
- SnapTrade connects to your broker, read-only, when you choose to connect one.
- Interactive Brokers sends your Flex report, if you connect that way.
- Paddle takes payments as our reseller and merchant of record: your card and billing address go to Paddle, not to us.
- Tiingo supplies share prices; it is only ever sent ticker symbols.
- Anthropic on the Pro plan, writes the guide's reviews and answers from your figures. Your name and email are not sent, and Anthropic's terms for business customers say it does not train its models on this data.
These services may store data outside your country, including in the United States and Japan, under their own security and data-protection terms.
Cookies
Only the ones the site needs: keeping you logged in, which of your accounts you are looking at, and whether you hid the sidebar. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is open. Delete your account under Your account, then Login & security: that closes your broker connections and deletes everything we hold for you straight away, and the copies of your broker history on our processing machine within a few days. Backups roll over within 30 days. Paddle keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it you can change yourself in Your account; for a copy of everything, or anything else, write to dani.theodore123@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels encrypted. The database lets each person read only their own rows. Interactive Brokers tokens are sealed so that only our processing machine can open them.
Children
Pebble is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data in a way that matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. See also the terms of service.
