Terms of service

Last updated October 17, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the team behind Pebble ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, write to us.

1. What Pebble is

Pebble is software that reads your brokerage history, with your permission and read-only, and works out figures about how your investments performed: returns, risk, comparisons with an index, a statistical test of your results, and a review of your past trades. On the Pro plan, an AI writes plain-English explanations of those same figures.

Pebble describes the past. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice. It never recommends buying, selling or holding anything, never predicts prices, and is not a broker: it cannot place trades or move money. Decisions you make are your own. Talk to a licensed adviser if you want advice.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms.
  • Give an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One person per account. Connect only brokerage accounts that are yours, or that you are allowed to share.

3. Connecting a broker

Connections are read-only and go through SnapTrade, or for Interactive Brokers a Flex report you set up. You authorise us to fetch your history, holdings and balances through them, and nothing else. Your broker's and SnapTrade's own terms also apply to those connections. You can remove a connection at any time in Settings.

4. How accurate the figures are

We work every figure out from the data your broker sends, check it against your broker's own value, and tell you when something does not add up. Brokers' data can still be late, incomplete or wrong, and some figures, such as option prices between your trades, are estimates. The figures are not tax records or official statements; your broker's statements are. If something looks wrong, report it from Settings and we will look into it.

5. Plans, the free trial and billing

  • New accounts get 7 days free, with no card. After that, a paid plan keeps your figures coming: Core for one account, or Pro for up to 5 accounts and the guide. Prices are on the pricing page.
  • Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, issues invoices, and handles billing questions and refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase.
  • Plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from Your account, then Plan & billing; the plan keeps working to the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
  • Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
  • If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

6. Using Pebble fairly

Do not try to reach other people's data, overload or probe the service, copy it or its figures for resale, get around the plan limits, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.

7. Your data

Your data stays yours. The privacy policy says what we keep, who handles it for us, and how to get a copy or have it deleted. You can delete your account and everything we hold for you at any time, under Your account, then Login & security.

8. Changes and availability

Pebble is new and keeps improving, so features will change. We aim to keep it running and your figures up to date, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. If we stop the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any period you paid for and cannot use.

9. Liability

Pebble is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment losses, for decisions made using the figures, or for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer that cannot be limited.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by cancelling your plan or deleting your account. We may end an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Carrying on after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law and contact
